1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Some are technical and essential; others are used to analyse browsing or show advertising, and in that case the law (Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE) requires your prior consent.
2. Which cookies this website uses
No cookies of our own. We designed this website so that it doesn't need cookies: there is no Google Analytics, no social media pixels and no advertising. Fonts and images are hosted on our own server, so no third-party resources are loaded while you browse.
The previous WordPress-based version of the website used Google Analytics and technical cookies from WordPress and its consent manager. The current website no longer uses them; if any are still stored from an earlier visit, you can delete them in your browser (see section 3).
The only exception is the Google Maps map on the contact page, which doesn't load until you click "Load the map". When you do, Google may set its own cookies:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NID, AEC, SOCS and similar | Google (google.com) | Preferences, security and map functionality | 6 to 13 months |
You can read how Google uses them in its cookie policy. If you'd rather they weren't set, simply don't load the map: our address and a link to open it in Google Maps are still available.
The Instagram and WhatsApp links only take you to those services when you click them; they set no cookies while you are on this website.
3. How to manage or delete cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings:
4. Changes and contact
If we ever add tools that use non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before enabling them. For any questions, email us at web@impools.cat.
